Our quality approach

ISO certification

 

The Bibus public transport network has initiated a continuous quality improvement process based on ISO 9001 certification.

This first ISO 9001 certification, obtained in 2024, testifies to the commitment of all Bibus employees to putting quality at the heart of its practices, and aims to satisfy all stakeholders (passengers, Brest métropole and partners).

Certification is issued by AB Certification for 3 years, with an annual review of processes.

Complying with the requirements of this international ISO standard enables Bibus' organization to progress step by step and to structure its management system in an integrated manner.  Beyond the field of quality, the company's policy from the outset integrates the fields of safety and the environment. By 2027, Bibus aims to achieve triple certification: ISO 9001 Quality, ISO 14001 Environment and ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety.

 

Service quality

 

Bibus regularly upgrades its service offering to meet the needs and expectations of its users. In line with the expectations of the Brest metropolitan area, Bibus has set itself the objective of achieving operational excellence in order to improve the services provided to passengers using the different modes of transport available in the Brest metropolitan area.

To meet a certain number of commitments to customers, Bibus teams are regularly audited by an outside organization to assess the level of service, focusing on four key components :

  • Guarantee the smooth operation of the transport offer : regularity/punctuality, reliability & availability of vehicles and equipment such as validators and ticket vending machines.

  • Guarantee a close, human and high-quality relationship with customers : satisfaction surveys, user committees, passenger complaints, driver greetings, agency and telephone greetings).

  • Guarantee the quality of information in normal and disrupted situations, on all channels : at stops and on board vehicles, in agencies, on the website and on the app.

  • Guarantee good travel conditions during the journey : vehicle cleanliness, driving comfort, safety and accessibility.
