Le Relecq-Kerhuon is located to the south of the Brest metropolitan area. With its mix of coast, countryside and town, the town is home to two of the region's economic heavyweights, Crédit Mutuel Arkea and Scarmor, the Leclerc group's central purchasing unit. The commune is also of undeniable interest to tourists, with the Moulin-Blanc beach (straddling the communes of Guipavas and Brest), the fir wood, the Camfrout cove on the banks of the Elorn, the Kerhuon cove, a natural bird reserve, the Costour valley, etc..
